Get Started with Asset365
Set up Asset365 on your Microsoft 365 tenant in under 15 minutes — no external servers, no databases, no infrastructure required.

Download the deployment package
Download the latest Asset365 deployment package (
asset365.sppkg) and license key directly from our SharePoint folder:If you need technical assistance during deployment, please contact our support team at support@spsvn.com.

Upload to SharePoint App Catalog
- Go to SharePoint Admin Center → More features → Apps → App Catalog
- Open Apps for SharePoint library
- Click Upload → select the
asset365.sppkgfile you downloaded - When prompted, check "Make this solution available to all sites in the organization"
- Click Deploy

Add the Web Part to a SharePoint page
- Navigate to any SharePoint site where you want to use Asset365
- Open or create a page → click Edit (or use + New → Page)
- Click + to add a new web part → search for "365" or "Asset"
- Select the Asset365 web part and add it to the page
- Click Publish to save the page

Enable Asset365 in Microsoft Teams (optional)
If you want users to access Asset365 directly from Microsoft Teams, enable the app in the Teams admin center:
- Open Microsoft Teams Admin Center → Teams apps → Manage apps
- Search for "Asset365" in the apps list
- Select the app row, then click Edit installs
- Under Install to, choose Everyone (or pick specific users / groups)
- Click Apply — the app status should show Unblocked and Available to: Everyone (org-wide default)
- (Optional) Click Add to team to pin Asset365 as a tab inside a specific Team channel
After approval, Asset365 appears in Microsoft Teams under Apps → Built for your org, next to your other internal apps. ⚠️You need Teams Administrator or Global Administrator role to manage apps in the Teams admin center. - 5
Enter your license key
- In the Asset365 web part, click the ⚙ Settings icon (top right corner)
- Paste your License Key into the license field
- Enter your Site URL (the SharePoint site where the app is installed)
- Click Activate — a green checkmark confirms successful activation

Sync SharePoint Lists & you're ready! 🎉
- In Settings, click Sync SharePoint Lists → Sync Now
- Asset365 will automatically create all required lists:
AS_Assets, AS_AssetCost, AS_Maintenance, AS_Inventory, AS_AssetCompliance, AS_Settings
Once sync completes, go back to the main page — Asset365 is fully operational!
You're all set! Start by adding your first asset under the Assets tab.
